A Brack for Congress campaign

CHARLESTON, S.C. - Coastal South Carolina congressional candidate
Andy Brack today launched a new Web site - AboutHenryBrown.com
- to allow voters to learn more about the record of his opponent.
"This new site will give people all across the district the
chance to make up their own minds about my opponent's record"
Brack said today. "Some of the things he has done over the
past 15 years in the General Assembly show a pattern of not investing
in education and healthcare, and damaging the environment. As someone
who believes in paying down the debt to invest in better education
and healthcare I find this disturbing."
"The best way to highlight what Brown believes is to put it
up there for all to see. Then people can decide for themselves whether
Brown's record is the sort of record they want in their Congressman."
Brack said the site was packed with documentation and evidence
about Brown's record.
The new site is the first time that the Internet has been used
by a candidate in an election in South Carolina to provide hard
evidence on the record of an opponent.
Brack, who runs an Internet business in Charleston, is excited
about the way in which the internet can help inform voters in their
search for the right candidate. "The great thing about the
internet is that people can get as much information as they need
to make up their own minds. That's a good thing for democracy, and
I hope that this technology will really help people get involved
in the election process."
AboutHenryBrown.com
gives details on measures supported and opposed by Henry Brown during
his 15 years as a legislator in the South Carolina General Assembly.
It currently highlights his record on education, healthcare and
the environment.
