Organizations can use SC Clips to gain
information advantage on state happenings
CHARLESTON,
S.C., 7/29/02 -- SC Clips, a new daily news digest launched
today, will provide South Carolina businesses and organizations
with an easy way to learn what's going on in the state.
"Instead
of relying only on the morning paper and local television
news, subscribers of SC Clips will have a information advantage
because they'll get a digest of news, business, politics and
opinion selected from more than 30 South Carolina sources
every business day," said Andy Brack, publisher of South
Carolina Statehouse Report.
By 10
a.m. every business day, users will get an e-mail that links
them to a news roundup and links to stories selected from
16 daily newspapers and at least 10 television stations. The
service also reviews more than 20 weekly South Carolina newspapers
for information with statewide impact.
"By
using SC Clips, you'll have a better knowledge of what's happening
statewide because you'll be getting information from a variety
of state sources," Brack said. "The service is quick,
affordable and easy-to-use."
Individual
subscriptions are available for as little as $20 per month.
Business subscriptions provide organizations with affordable,
lower per-user costs.
SC Clips
will be free online through Aug. 15, 2002. To view what you'll
receive every business day as a subscriber, go to:

"We
think SC Clips will be a great addition to your news diet.
It will supplement what you get in your morning newspaper
by providing a wider range of information," Brack said.
